EVGA GTX 770 VS 780

I have made a post on my planned PC build before but wanted to ask a different question.

I have seen both of these cards and I do not know which one to go for and I'd like to hear some opinions.

Dual Superclocked ACX GeForce GTX 770 has a core clock of 1.11Ghz and price around £307?

Superclocked ACX GeForce GTX 780 has a core clock of 967Mhz and price of £383.99

Also please note, if you have any other graphics card that would definitely compete with these but at lower prices or better performance around the same price norm, please add them below they will be greatly apreciated

Why exactly do you say I shouldnt go for the 770? it has good core clocks and good memory, and good cooling when looking at the EVGA

also as for the R290 I want to stay away from Radeon (very bad history with them), yes it is definetely a personal preference and I am sure they are great cards, just prefer to stick with nvidia
