Just discovered this nice little feature after trying to figure out why my copy of Assassins Creed Unity was CTD when I was fast travelling between areas of Paris.
I've gone from a unstable game to a completely stable game, literally overnight. And that's at 1520Mhz on a 980.
I wonder why this isn't a feature of Nvidia control panel? Some folk have said forcing constant voltage in afterburner does the same thing, or the 'prefer maximum performance' in nvcpl, but I don't think it does. I've have both enabled, and still got the crashes.
Is there any particular reason? Card lifespan?
