P30 Bios

Higher FSB for new c2d's. Apparently its the same one shamino used for 500fsb.

I'd like to think so, but aren't EVGA and BFG different now EVGA have upgraded their boards to a newer revision and BFG never made that change?

Happy to be proven wrong, as a BFG owner! Their after sales is laughable compared to EVGA.

bfg updated their boards to D00, isnt this the same revision as the latest EVGA :confused:

dont think they did a replacement program, but when i sent mine in for RMA, it came back as D00..

The EVGA bios WILL work on ALL revisions of the reference motherboard from ALL manufacturers. The bios is not written by EVGA its written by Nvidia, its just EVGA are quickest off the mark with releasing them. If you do update your bios to an 'evga' bios then you will however notice that your board becomes marked as an EVGA 680i in cpu-z.

I now have an EVGA A1 board now but all the bios's previous to this worked on my revision 1 ECS 680i without a problem.

I would suggest flashing via Dos though and not windows. Use the CD or floppy method.

Yeah can't complain really about the price I got what with the upcoming price drops and all. Its going under phase I believe with the new owner for a benching rig so its not in retirement yet

I would think phase will push it a little further. There is still room for vcore adjustment aswell. Most I used was 1.7(1.65) on water - who knows.

I have a holiday in devon to bridge the gap until the price cuts
