Is the step-up program offered on all cards from EVGA, remember looking at one that didn't have that on the description? Was one of the basic Core 216's

Anyone know for sure?

Cheers,
Krib.

All new cards do, refurb don't. I have 2 216s sat on my desk and both say 90 day step on them.

EVGA setup is very very slow for us in europe i tryed to upgrade my GX2 and moved 2 places in 3 weeks.

I'm on the last day of opportunity for my step up - gotta say i'm not really impressed with the options open to me. I got a standard GTX 260 and intended to upgrade to the Core216 model. I've clicked the step-up button, looked at the options and they price the Core216 option at 377Euros!!! Now i paid £200 for my card, thought i'd get that back on the new card but no, they take tax off. They want the price of my card in Euros and now the exchange rate is poor it means my card is valued about 199Euros. I'm not paying 177Euros for an upgrade to the 216!!

My point is, if you're looking at the EVGA cards due to the step-up i wouldn't bother, its not worth it IMO. Now the warranty on the other hand, that is worth the slight premium you pay...

Ok thanks for your replies guys.

I did the step up some time ago when I had an 7900 Signature series and it did take some time. Also by the time I had finished I had spent far to much money, including 20 quid for a Internation bank transfer.

So in summary, I'll do like someone sais, just sell the card on to a freind or something, far easier.

Cheers,
Krib.

i buy evga for the warranty

step up doesn't fit my upgrade patterns (tend to stick with a gpu for ~2 years)
