i know a lot say its not worth it but say i wanted to see how much it would cost to move upto the 295gtx can i go through the stepup programme and will it tell me how much it will cost or do you have to go through with it once you have started the procedure

I just tried the step-up but of course never went through with it, so they take the price you paid for your card before tax and shipping, in my case that came to £200 for my 260/216 which is 213 euro, EVGA want 529 euro for the 295 under the step-up program so therefore I would have to add about £300 to get the 295.

If you just log into your account at EVGA you can keep checking to see if the price has dropped. I paid a fair bit for my 260 so chances are in a few weeks i will be able to upgrade to a 285 for nothing.

£300  thats a lot think i might go for the 285 and see what that comes out at,but is it much faster than the 260gtx ive got

Sunderland it depends how much you first paid for your card. Would cost me $70 to go for a 285.

i paid £229.00 for it and thats the page i had up so do i have to put it down as dollars like you did and take it from there cheers

Nah its just cus i got mine in USA. It will say you will have to enter Pounds or Euros. How much does it say a 285 is in the drop down list?

thats the page i get,do i have to go to another page for over here because it says the address is not a valid usa address which i know that,

If you bought your card in Europe then you go with Euro prices from EVGA, below is the price of a 285, so it would cost you around £210 to step-up.
