EVGA Warranty and Step Up Program

with evga you can do pretty much anything. Also long as physically the card looks same when returned. But they might allow some kind of modding to the coolers not 100% on that.

I have had to rma my card in the past and originally it was sent out with a modded bios. There was no issues.

They are perfectly fine with you swapping the cooler out. I have a block for mine too.

As for the step up programs I presume it's the same as their rma policy. I know there's a few reps dotted around the forums or just pop over to their site and ask yourself.

And yes the warranty does transfer. My card is second hand I just had to register the serial number to an account I made on their site. :)

Hi String,

please be aware that only the standard 3 yrs warranty do transfer to a second hand owner, extended warrantys are only for the originally purchaser, as well as the Step Up programm, this is only valid for the originally owner 90 days of the originally purchase date.

Yes, for RMA reason the originally cooler need to be fitted and like Snookums stated: Physically damages to the card will void the warranty. As long as there is no physically damage a third person caused and the cooler is installed it is no prob from our site!!
