EVGA were my goto brand for GFX cards. Sad day when they announced they were hanging up their coat. Admittedly it sounds like NVIDIA's stranglehold hasnt made it easy for them (or any other manufacturer) to work within the geforce card space.

A 'Geforce Evangelist'?

Evangelist really isn't a title you should be using if you want people to believe that you're not just after their money. Not sure what Nvidia were thinking on that one.

I don't know anything about the guy tbh but I guess if evga have ditched graphics the guy has to find a job somewhere.

I like EVGA, i like their products, i have one of them.

But they always had misplaced loyalty in choosing to be an Nvidia only partner and their panda faced surprise at being betrayed by them is frankly of no surprise to me.

As for Jacob Freeman him ending up at Nvidia was while not quite inevitable also not surprising, people like him are always going to be and always have been Nvidia Evangelist, that's ingrained in their culture and culture demands loyalty.

You know what they fact no one in journalism questioning Nvidia's or EVGA's reasoning or actions in all this brought up loyalty to Nvidia as something problematic and idiotic shows no one in this industry thinks loyalty is, but there is such a thing as AMD fanboys, and only AMD fanboys.

It pays to have your fingers in that pie and they all have very sticky fingers, its only betrayal when licking your fingers clean doesn't taste quite so sweet anymore.

I want someone to bring Nvidia down because i want to see these people cry, just as they did when AMD brought Intel down.

Why are you responding to your own post after 10 mins?

As for the article "Geforce Evangelist".. Jesus Christ....how anyone can have a raging stiffy for a tech company baffles me.

Being a fanboy for companies just comes off as strange to me, pc users used to mock apple users for their 'bowing at the altar of jobs' stance, but its really as bad in the pc space these days.

I'm a fan of Nvidia's tech, Not their business practices though.
