Had the opportunity to drive around the Evo "Triangle" today. Went anti-clockwise around it just the once as i didnt have time to go the other way.
The A543 and the B4501 were both great roads, the B4501 probably my favorite from the two. A5 was bland to be honest, gave everything a chance to cool off though.
My vehicle was probably lacking a bit of power, 73bhp and a good 1.6 tonnes when loaded, but this made it more interesting working the gears and keeping it around the legal limit
Only came across two other cars, a clio on the B4501 which i flew past and then an Astra who was a local i guess on the A543 near the end.
Some of the humps/bumps mid corner would be a bit unsettling in a lowered car, impressed they take some expensive metal around there, probably run risk of grounding at some points too perhaps!
Not sure if id go out of my way to go there again, if i was in the area i probably would do though.
I went on the B4391 on the way to the triangle, would really recommend it, some excellent corners on there, and you dont have to be going quick to enjoy it!
