Out of interest how are these codes allocated?

Are they randomly sent to ps plus subscribers? Or did people have to apply?

There's loads of alphas/betas for games and I've never received one.

If it's a case of applying, how do you guys find out in the first place? Playstation email, or do you just read/find out on the Internet?

I never seem to see information on applications for alpha/beta codes on the Internet, but maybe I don't read enough or in the right places.

The alpha has confirmed what I originally thought after seeing trailers and gameplay footage....... It's a game that might be ok for a game or two but that's it. I wouldn't pay more than £10 for the game. I wish they would have spent their time making another l4d game :(
