No doubt he'll design something decent, Microsoft will cut corners like crazy, and it'll end up like GFWL.

Microsoft just don't get the concept that if you go through development of a product not giving a crap about how it turns out, you're always going to be onto a loser.

Shocking discovery that man working on successful digital distribution platform when there was no other players on the market didn't make an impact on a now well established and dominated market.

Dormanstown.
They could just get the Xbox 360 Halo games ported to PC and put on Steam if they were actually serious, but they're not.

That's the only way I'd see them as being serious, followed through by other titles.

Shame really.

Funnily, Microsoft yesterday/day before made another "We're going to make an effort with PC gamers" speech.
Yeah saw that its obvious MS do not care the only way they can dominate is to buy Steam from Valve and that is not likely to happen anytime soon is it.

Maybe he went in there just to kill off GfWL and now that's done, he's leaving. :D

He was a double agent sent by Gabe Newell to infiltrate and destroy the pc gaming division of the microsoft orginization unfortunatelly he was confronted by Bill Gates wearing a mechanical suit armed with four miniguns and consequently terminated his employment before he could finish the job.
