Afternoon everyone.

I am still busy researching various ways to get the most from landscape photography for when I go away.

I have also been trying to get my head around blending two exposures together - one for the ground and one for the sky.

Would it be possible for any of you to show some examples of shots you have blended in photoshop with a brief outline of how you did it?

Before and after shots would be good to show the difference between the start shot(s) and end result.

Looking forward to seeing some examples if anyone has them :)

Are the risk of having stones thrown at me (see last weeks thread ;)) why don't you try HDR , it is excellent for that sort of thing :)

Been playing around with it over the last couple of weeks and its very very hard to get realistic looking pictures. They look unreal and more like I've just aplpied some sort of filter to them, which I hate. The true essence of HDR is not easy to master!

There is a very easy to follow video guide HERE for blending two exposures in photoshop. The example used is a B&W shot and not really a landcape, but the methods covered in it will apply equally to what you need.

A more landscape-based guide can be found HERE
