Excel and macro help needed

ok i can use excel to a certain degree but i am now at a point where i am stuck. i have a personal expenditure file i use almost daily and i have my main file plus 2 backups of the file. after editing the file i save it, so to keep the file current i have to save it another 2 times to the backup locations.

i looked round the net and found a macro that works for me however when i close the workbook and reopen it my macro is no longer listed under the developer/marco tab.

where am i going wrong, please try to keep any replies simple

the macro in question when i run it saves to all 3 locations with 1 click, thats all i want to do :)
 
cheers for the reply, it needs to run with windows 10 and sync to onedrive aswell, however i have sussed out my problem i needed to save my file with an .xlsm extension :)
