Is it possible in Excel to have a drop down list selectable of Yes & No, and then have a tally of how many times Yes has been selected?

Example is I need to create an appointment sheet with amount of appointments attended and the option for the guys to select is yes/no, it then calculates how many yes' have been selected and displays this value.

A bit vague?

Yep, you need to look into Data Validation for the drop-down box aspect, then it's just a simple COUNTIF formula

i.e. =COUNTIF(A:A,"Yes")
