Ok, so sorry if the original post was a bit whack!
I know this is probably a real easy solution but its doing my head in
Here is the table i'm talking about
Now, using conditional Formating, I need to make cells with no answer white, cells with correct answer green and cells with wrong answer red.
I've gone to the conditional formatting tab and applied the following:-
Cell Value 'equal to' '0' then format white
Cell Value 'equal to' '=$C$2*$B$3' then format green
Cell Value 'not equal to' '=$C$2*$B$3' then format red
Where, '=$C$2*$B$3' is the formula to the answer in the first cell (C3) i.e. 1 x 1 = 1 and so on.
I can apply this formatting, but for some reason I cant apply it to recognise the formula across the table. I.E. if I try and apply the formula across the table it keeps saying that cell F5 (for example) is trying to apply the formula '=$C$2*$B$3' in stead of '=$F$2*$B$5'.
Does that make sense?
