I'm totally flummoxed by this...!
Two dates in excel e.g. A1 = 19/10/2010 15:47 & A2 = 20/10/2010 17:47
Now the difference between these two dates is 1 day and 2 hours. If I do A2-A1 with the format 'dd hh mm' I get '01 02 00'.
However if I expand the format to include months ('mm dd hh mm') I get '01 01 02 00' or 1 month 1 day 2 hours and 0 minutes. What's going on!?
This is causing me real issues calculating the difference between dates that are more than a month apart. Any help gratefully received...
