I have a small fleet of vehicles to look after (about 100), i have a start and finish mileage each month, i know how to individually work our the total miles covered but i can see an easy way to put in the formula without entering it into each car.

=F5-E5 works but then i have to do that for each vehicle. is there a quick way?

assuming you have the cars listed down the sheet, double click the little box on the bottom right of the cell you have selected with the formula in it - it will copy the formula down the sheet to the bottom most cell of the column either side of it.

or you can click and drag it down to the required cell.
