Just wanted to share this. Vodafone are doing full speed fibre at £30 per month right now. That price includes line rental.

For the next month they are also chucking in a free Sonos 1 (other gifts available) for new customers.

You can also get £52.50 in cash back from Topcashback. They will also reimburse up to £100 in early termination penalties from your current ISP.

I signed up yesterday as I thought this was a pretty solid deal.

People on hot deals saying There terms say you can’t claim the upto £100 term cost and the free gift offer just FYI.

Also few people on tcb saying the cash back not dishing out.

Still even without that it’s a great deal, plus net cash back seems more reliable in getting (only according to tcb).

I’m looking at both too .

Bet they wouldn't reimburse me 11 months of line rental saver. :p

Ah well, there's usually at least one company doing a good 80/20 fibre deal at any one time and I'm already paying £30/mo all-in anyway.

Going to give them a go.
Joined today, 1st Sept install date.

Edit: ! Got an email saying problem with the order and order cancelled.
Now in a queue on the phone to them. Not the best start

Giving it a go - order done for Unlimited Fibre 76 - install date 1st September :)

Cracking deal with TCB £52 cashback! I've been after a Sonos PLAY:1 speaker as well, saves me £180 odd...

On FTTC there isn't LLU. All Openreach.

You can still buy the bit that isn't the VDSL signal from BT Wholesale if you want, it's just that nobody really does - if they aren't a huge ISP then they will wholesale from people like TalkTalk rather than pick a way to keep their costs high and offering zero product differentiation. You are correct in that there's no notion of each ISP having their own DSLAM or anything like that.

Think I may have to cancel I'm reading over on their forum that Vodafone won't give you the details required to use a 3rd party modem/router?

Edit: Nevermind, looks like they changed this decision a few months ago and will now give out the credentials.

Looks good.

I had adsl2 years ago with plus.net. I connected at 11mbps so what sort of speed with fibre 76 on average?

I can't find any site that perform the speed test on my phone. I'm with BT but no broadband. I'm with virgin cable

Thanks
