Hello Everybody,
I'm setting up Global distribution lists in Exchange Admin so that external contacts and local users can send emails to external contacts and local users.
The distribution list ([email protected]) is setup so that only the members from the security group ([email protected]) are authorised to send to the group.
The external SMTP contacts have been setup in A.D and have valid SMTP addresses, and have been added to the ([email protected]) secuirty group.
The problem is that it only seems to work on an intermittent basis, and external contacts that could send to the list yesterday and having issues sending today.
They recieve an error from their local Postmaster stating that they do not have permissions.
I am sure it is setup fine from my end, and was wondering if this could be an issue at their end. Or there could be an issue with external contact authorization on our Exchange side?
Sorry for the confusing post, but i am very confused as to why it is not working all the time. Maybe it's just one of those email glitches?
Cheers,
Tucks
