Hi

We used to access our emails from anywhere in the world using our static ip liek this http://xx.xxx.xx.xxx/exchange

We have just changed isp to Be so our static ip & router has changed as well.

Our exchange server is not working now and I can't get any settings from the old router as no one seems to know the password for it :(

All I can tell you is that the only way I can access the exchage server at the moment is by using http://192.168.1.200 from within the network

Does anyone know what settings I have to enter into the new router to make our exchange server work again?

Thanks

Your old firewall will have the forwarding details (a copy should be saved on the server, see if you can access them), cant you just copy them and apply them to the new router?

You need to port forward on the BE router port 80 to 192.16.1.200 for it to work from external.

Or you may have the BE router setup in bridge mode, depends on how you got it setup at BE.

One thing you need to be double sure of is that you have a static IP Address on your BE account and whether you are using NAT or not on the router. That will affect how you solve this problem.

I use BE and Exchange, but I have my router setup in bridging mode and my firewall handles all that side of it.

I'll see if there is a copy on the server.

Our account comes with a static Ip and the Bebox handles NAT as well.

You should really be looking at connecting to the server over a secure connection, port 443 at the very least.

My suggestion would be to look at a VPN solution for remote workers.
