I am currently having a debate with myself with what phone to get. An iPhone 4 or and htc Desire.
I hope that this thread can become some kind of review thread where people can see which apps are exclusive to a specific OS, which will hopefully help them decide to go down either the Android or iOS4 route. I imagine there are, and will be in the future, lots of people who are deciding between these two Operating Systems.
I think that we can all agree that both phones have there pro's and con's in terms of hardware and functionality etc..., but the issue that I am interested in right now is;-
Which apps are exclusive to a particular OS and what do they do?
I'll give an example (I'm leaning toward the iPhone today
)
iOS4 - iPod - The iPod app allows an iPhone user to listen to all their music using Apples familiar interface. Its also supports other stuff that I don't know about because I've not got one...
Lame review I know, but its an example of the kind of thing I'm after.
When we get conflict over exclusivity of an app, rather than argue about which is better, or how different they are, can we just say that 'iPod isn't an exclusive iOS4 app because Android has an app called Music which does the same thing'
