Got a tablet? Could save a good chunk of money by getting a decent bike and using your tablet with it instead

NordicTrack do them:

A standard trainer paired with an iPad, TV, or computer screen running apps like Zwift or Rouvy

I just got a cheap Merach bike that has a great app and connects to my iPad. Far better value than anything else out there.

I bought a used commercial gym exercise bike for a few hundred, absolute unit.

Set up a laptop right next to it with a fit young lady spin class instructor barking orders at you and its not so torturous.

I used to hire a bike, was pretty cheap and good for a certain period of time as you didn't need to keep it (taking up room)

I think you need a smart exercise bike and then you can Bluetooth pair it to an iPad running an app. See the links I gave above for starters.

Zwift is the go to exercise 'app', but there are some good free ones like Rouvy and MyWhoosh.

But you will need a compatible smart trainer, which could connect to a cheap bike if you have one.
