Im going to start eating breakfast (something ive never done since i was about 10)
try and get a good exercise routine going as atm im just doing things when i can be botherd.
drink more water/diluted juice, i dont really drink a lot of pop, but im gonna cut that down too.
i dont eat much junk food but when i do eat it, i eat loads of it, so im gonna cutt down on that.

No Philz0r... you're not going to try and limit your bread intake, you're going to ****ing do it!!!

Don't go on a "diet" as you will get lazy and wont stick to it as you say, crap food tastes so good. :D

Just eat a healthy balanced diet with as many natural ingredients as possible and have a SMALL amount of junk on the weekend.

Oh and get off your fat ass and get your heart rate up, find a sport that you like instead of pounding the streets, again, if you find things boring you wont stick with it.

Think lifestyle change and you will get in shape without thinking about it
oh and don't expect to look like Leonidas of Sparta in 6 months unless you put some conviction and effort into the change

I'm glad I took 5 years of karate classes in my teens though, so I can simply exercise my whole body from standing in one spot :D

I am doing two 30-45 min sessions per week atm, I do one session on my arms / chest / shoulders, and the other on my legs. I need to regain my flexibility before I start practicing more often, though I can almost get my head to my knees again.

My legs / arms / shoulders are all fine, but my stomach is a fail :(

You know when they chop bricks or cinder blocks on people's backs... that's how he works his by balancing all the bricks on his back.

ive just started doing the 26mile there and back commute to work on my mountain bike ,got a decent budget one (2010 mongoose) .
thought it would be a chore but i really enjoy it ,cycle paths and canal side going ,then at 2am its very quiet on the roads ,cool air and the night sky ,i give it some real effort and only lose maybe 30 mins compared to if i drive ,and you have that buzz going on when you get home

Because he does sick dead lifts as he fights, obviously!

I'm not really so sure how to describe it, but weight training of any kind is completely unnecessary to exercise any part of the body. Tendon Strength and flexibility > Muscle Strength. A couple of obvious back exercises:

- Legs apart with the knees locked, right hand to left foot and vise versa - warms up and stretches the thigh, knee, calf, and lower back and soulder blade on the alternate side.

- Sit and reach - sit on floor, legs out in front straight and then spread, try to reach for the toes and work towards getting your head to your knees, works the same muscle groups as the first stretch does much more strenuously minus the shoulders.

And there are specific moves that you do in repeat that work the back and you can feel the strain I dont really know how to explain, but karate doesnt just work by moving the arms and the legs, hip and back rotation is used in every move, and the strength behind most moves actually comes from back and hip work as opposed to from the limbs. Back when I was 17 and was pretty much pro at it, my whole body was supple, nimble and well trained including my back, it will just take ages, and most likely be impossible now to get back to that stage, but I'll keep on trying :)

The club that I went to in my teens didnt do block breaking. It was a fully anti block breaking organization.

I'm making do with 2 meals a day to stop my weight reaching 12 stone lol.

don't do this. Have smaller meals but more of them and cut carbs after 12 I find is good. Try to aim for about 1500-1800 calories a day or so, up your protein to curb the hunger if need be as well. Add more weights training as well as the cardio, weights is really good for getting your metabolism going and is better min for min for losing weight than running etc, but it is harder to maintain.
