Exhaust question

Hi all

Had a new back box fitted about a month ago. It sounded ok for a couple of days but then got more and more raspy. Took it back to Ford who refitted it - again for a week it was ok and now it is sounding raspy again. I got it up on my ramps and the noise is coming from the join of the back and middle. The bolts are all tight. Should I shove some more exhaust paste on (there doesn't appear to be much on) or take it back again or get someone else to look?

If ford fitted it, i presume they're responsable for fixing it. Take it back to them again.

Well I decided I couldn't be bothered taking it back to Fords just yet so I got it up on the ramps and applied lashings of exhaust paste to the join in the middle. Ill see tomorrow if it has helped. If not im going to take it to a local garage for a second opinion as Ford have failed twice in sorting it.

Well the exhaust paste didn't do much. Took it back to Fords - they have taken it all off and re-sleeved (sp?) it. It sounds normal again now! But for how long.....?
