Exisiting IDE caddy or MyBook?

Had an old Seagate 120gb in an external IcyBox style enclosure (of the "Safecom" brand), but my dad was short of HD space, so I figured I'd give him that and get myself a bigger drive.

My question is the thread title, do I buy a ~250gb IDE (older technology?) drive to put in the external or just get myself a nice quiet 250gb MyBook?

I suspect the MyBook, and that's my inclination at the moment, but opinions would be appreciated

Change of thinking, might just buy a new caddy and new SATA hard drive to go with it. Theory is that this could then go into my computer at a later date...

So, which one should I be looking at? Guessing the Enermax for £31 or the IcyBox for £35?

Might have to be one of these if so. Anybody know what the IcyBox comes with?

Looks like it. So, by "SATA bracket" does that mean the panel that creates my external SATA port?
