Expand SATA?

Say i had a motherboard with 6 SATA ports and i was using them all....4 SATA HDD's and 2 SATA optical drives.

If i then wished to add more SATA HDD's is this possible - is there anyway of expanding my SATA capability?

Yes,

Buy either a PCI or PCI-E Sata controller and add the extra drives. At the more expensice end you can buy PCI or PCI-E raid contollers.

OCUK only seem to offer Raid cards but straight controller cards are cheaper and can be sourced elsewhere
