"Expensive" bikes - Where do you store them?

Haha i think they are great! Totally cheating

That's what I said when someone suggested one to me seven years ago.
They replied, "Is driving a car cheating? riding a motor bike cheating? catching the bus cheating? getting a taxi cheating? It is just another form of transport to get you to work and back".
It's only cheating if you pretend it isn't.

Asgard say delivery for metal bike shed will be December, which is ridiculous anyway.

A well known chain of smaller DIY stores was selling them for less than Asgard, but with C19 stock is low and the prices now match the Asgard site. Bought one earlier this year, and it's worth the money. Managed to get 4 road bikes in the '3 bike' Asgard Addition shed.

Bike is now 10 years old so worth substantially less than it was, even then it was only an entry level MTB circa £1100, so just store it in the shed, shed doesn't even have a lock. :)

Will probably upgrade the shed to a lock if ever get a new bike.

You can mention them as they aren't an OCUK competitor.

Ha, well it's Screwfix. Once ordered, Asgard were fulfilling the order directly, saving £100. Bought a plastic base for £20 or so for it to sit on and a motorbike chain. Keep meaning to buy an anchor, but this feels solid enough.

(Apologies, i post every 18 months or so when upgrading, and only read the forum in between)
