 Okay, some of you may remember me posting about a certain dad being a complete and utter **** by getting financial products in my name.

Now the thing is, ive emailed them 3 times, twice with replies, the 3rd time with nothing. This is beyond a joke, its FRAUD!! Surely they would be pretty anxious as to get to the bottom of the case dont you think?

Now ive emailed them to this address here "[email protected]"

They aint aswering guys, im starting worry. Understatement, im panicking.

Ive decided its the best thing to is to grass him up, yes my sister may get hurt, but shes been an *** at the mo so i dont really care, this is my financial life at risk not hers! Anyone know which email address i can email them too?

Been raking their site for a while trying to find one that corresponds to my problem.

Thanks for any help,

James.

Emails can be ignored, phonecalls can't.

Well i want to email them anyway as this is just much easier for me, i hate giving info out over the phone you see, i dont like doing it.

I know much cant go wrong, but its just, my sister is always around and so is my mum and i dont like people been able to hear my convos.

I can give you an email contact at Experian, but not until i'm at work tomorrow.

Nice one that will do, ill keep trying to find out, pulling google to pieces trying to find it.

How come you have it at work what do you do?

EDIT: Dont worry. Just checked your profile.

Do you know what i could say to make them act faster, some terms that stand out more. etc..

They are getting very annoying now, im getting extremely annoyed about this as i cant even email them, i cant even find the initial email i used, luckily its in my sent items, not only that i think they think im American, what the hell is this social security number!!

Have you tried through this link and are you a member of Experien? They won't reply to email or phone calls unless your a member or send off a written request for a one-off report costing £2.00. http://www.experian.co.uk/

I remember your original post and replied to it a couple of times James. Its unusual for them [Experien] not to answer you very quickly, usually within a couple of hours but you do need to be a member.

If you need to deal with this quickly (which sounds like you do and rightfully so) then you need to pluck up the courage to phone these people.

As rightfully said about, emails can be ignored, phone calls can't.

If you HAVE to email them, turn read reciepts on, so at least you have some sort of indication of either a) they are ignoring you and you need to phone them, or b) you are due a reply shortly.

If you dont ring them you have no chance of getting it sorted, you cant sort this stuff on email. Surely you can call them when no one is in or call them from a friends house? If he has applied for credit etc in your name then likely Experian would need the police involved they arent just going to say yep no probs and take it off your report or everyne would do it. No matter what happens it takes forever for stuff on credit reports to sort itself out, if it ever does atall.

Fraud would need to be proven, Experian cant do that, they arent a law enforcement agency they just record data.

Exactly, just call them. If you're scared (and a lot of people can be) then just write a list of bullet points about what you want to cover, e.g.

My Name is...
I am ringing up about my credit report...
I need to get the following entries purged from my report as they are incorrect:
1.
2.
When will this be completed?
Do I have to pay for this, or would I just have to pay to get a report back confirming they have been expunged.

I agree but Experian wont remove them for you, you would need to find out what companies have put the bad score down and why, then you deal with the company. I have been in a situation of trying to sort something out on a credit report and even if you settle it with the company it will still show on the report for years and thats if its you that did it. So if other people have been tinkering its going to be a bit messy

You won't get nearly as far by email alone. Call them up, send recorded correspondence.
