Explaining religion and life and Universe..

I dont think your getting the point

I think I am. Your statement is based on something that is wrong. The brain and eye are massively understood in a biological matter.
I stopped reading what you had to say after that as everything else would be pointless if it was based on that statement.

That just means your eye/never/brain is defective.

My eyes/visual processor are defective in that they cannot differentiate certain types of light doesn't mean that they are the same thing.

It does not change the wavelength of the light in any way.

Basically you are arguing that your perception of the universe defines the universe.

Which is silly, you are not a special creature you are nothing more than any caterpillar, dog, cat, ape or fish.

I know im not, they have their own universes. They arent as intelligent as humans so they dont think like this.

I don't think you've explained yourself very well. Don't blame an audience for your own failings at communication.

ok fair enough i did say i rambled. You understand perfectly where im coming from though

Ye but there not though. Where are there studies explaining how the brain works exactly?.. Nerves are stimulated and that goes up into our brains which is how we feel pain etc. Thats hardly explaining it is it.

No they don't they have the same universe.

Funny how you go on about unknowns and then claim to know the thought process of an incredibly diverse and different collection of animals.

What do we not understand about our eyes? Light enters through our lens and hits rods and cones in the back of our eye stimulating nerves to send electrical signals to our brain.

The brain we do not fully understand... no offense but you sound like a crackpot :P

Blind people can perceive the universe, i understand what you are saying though. Without our senses, touch/smell/sight/hearing we distinguish anything around us, it would be like living in a void. Who knows what is like to lose all those senses. Despite this, the world will still exist. If our thoughts were so powerfull we could create anything from nothing.

Your bold points seem a little crazy.

It is not very clear to me, are you trying to say that the universe is created because we as humans can perceive it?

Firstly im not saying I "know" any of this, this is just a theory to bring about a discussion..

Anyway, I never said they had the same universe. I said they have their own universe.

Of course it isn't the explication for different parts of nerves brains eyes etc equal millions of pages of text, diagrams and equations.

You (and i for that matter) will not understand the more detailed explanations because I don't have 6 PhDs in the relevant fields.

Can you explain in detailed terms how the LHC detectors work?

Anyway, I never said they had the same universe. I said they have their own universe.

Based on what?

You're saying the universe is a product of a living creatures which is just masturbatory crap to make people feel special.

Does a rock have it's own universe?

How about a plant?

Tissue sample grown in vitro?

Brain dead but otherwise alive human being?

True true I do sound like a crackpot lmao..

yep blind people obviously are still here in the universe. But their sight has gone so there "known universe" is smaller.

What im trying to say is every living thing has a universe and it is our/their brain which controls it. We are our own god type thing.

To be fair. I dont really know wtf im on about but I think its pretty spiritual and hinduist lol.

No, you've just realised the importance of the objective ego within a realist definied universe.

We are each our own bearer of a unique universe (our perception, ideals, wants, and experience, etc.) within the infinite cosmos which exists true and external of us.

Go watch Dark star.

The scene where he talks to the bomb and the ending will help you clarify your position.

Yes and no. The universe is infinitely big in our eyes. A Rock and plant dont have a brain or eyes or anything to percieve a world. They just try and survive and reproduce, much the same as animals and us. Obviously animals have brains and think unlike plants and rocks. We on the other hand are the most intelligent "in most cases :P" of animals in our known universe and we think about how we are here, why we are here.

Rambling again

How do you know?

Right so how is your brain any different to the chemical mechanisms of a plant?

are you seriously comparing humans with plants?

Take your ego out of the equation and listen to what he's trying to say. Don't run before you can walk.

We share a common ancestor with all life on the planet. Just as the plants evolved to specialise in photosynthesis, we evolved to take advantage of the carbohydrates they produce and then carried on specialising until we found the form we have today. We are only the pompous combination of the hunter-gatherer and the social-ape. We are special, but we are not the elite in terms of evolutionary digression.

Yea ive been reading a lot of stuff like that. Pretty interesting.

Ill answer your question though. The difference between plants and us is that humans and animals have feelings, thoughts, ideas, dreams etc. These are what shape "our" universe.

Meh.. :p all i know is thinking about stuff like this isnt good for the brain

I always had a soft spot for the bacteria that use uranium to make energy from water.

I personally put Nuclear powered microbes that live 2 miles down in solid rock above humans in the "well adapted" tables.
