Okay, can someone simply explain to me what is going on here? People say that it is better to have DDR2 matched to the CPU fsb.... if it is not matched going one step above the fsb speed is fine.... but anything above this - results are not great and you are wasting money..... is this true?
So for example an intel quad core running at 1066 fsb.... say if i was going to get 4gb of RAM what speed ram should i get?
1066mhz ram, 800mhz or 667mhz?
Also what ram to get if it was a conroe e6600?
