So, whilst I was in kitchen this evening the lightbulb in hallway either exploded or imploded shattering glass everywhere.
I have no idea if the switch is in the on or off position now, and a bit concerned safety wise. I don't want to touch it even with pliars and I never mess with electricity.
However, if I leave it exposed in the socket wont it be dangerous i.e start a fire if some gas or something gets in contact?
I think the fillimint might have gone and came in contact with the glas I don't know but it's just the glas that shatters everywhere the rest of the bulb is in the light ceiling socket.
Earliest I can get a family member to sort it would be Saturday. Is that to long?
