Explosion outside a mosque in Tipton

The word "terrorism" has been overused lately like it's a buzzword. It's no longer a PDA phone, we now have to call it a smartphone, oh noes I don't have a smartphone I only have a Nokia. Mosques being sprayed with "EDL" and war memorials with "Islam", oh noes it's terrorism  Same goes with "racism" when really we're debating religion, not how much pigment they have in their skin.

The words of a racist!

I worked in Sedgely for a number of years in the late 80's and early 90's, it was like going back in time but you could always get a good pint, pie and bag of scratchings so it kept me happy :)

There have been Police stationed outside a Mosque near me for over a month now. I wonder how much it is costing, or taking Police away from other areas to guard them all. I suppose something like this at least justifies it.

Could you imagine if they had Police outside every religious place of worship in the country.

I do believe this has a severe degree of Rhetorical stuff in it.........

Yes, it does and that pertains to religion. However, that picture - daft as it may be - is more political in nature. Whilst inflammatory remarks and comments are not welcome nor is complete subjugation with a blanket we can't say anything.

It serves no political purpose. It is created to offend.

If people want complete freedom to post what they want, then they can go to /b/.

No, it is created to make a statement. That you are offended is hardly shocking if you hold a certain viewpoint. Others will find it amusing. I personally find it not in the best taste like I said but hardly that bad.

I personally find a lot of the stuff spouted by some Muslims on this forum about "justifiable actions" quite offensive but I don't try and stifle their voice other than through questioning their assertions and most definitely by asking for their posts to be removed. Same reason I don't have anyone on ignore.

You are not asking us to respect your religion, you are asking us to submit to it. This is a public forum, at most we have to respect human rights, and as such (according to article 19) we have freedom of opinion and expression.
Tell me again how God told you to be offended on his behalf?

When Muslims stop beheading people that offend them then maybe they will be accorded the respect they request, demanding respect based on my sky pixie is better than your sky pixie doesn't wash.

Meanwhile, I respect your right to post whatever you want, you don't have to go to /b/ just for my sake :)

Hundreds of worshippers should have been in the area at the time for the first Friday prayers of Ramadam. But by a miraculous stroke of good fortune, religious leaders had delayed the call by an hour.

Would have been devastating, including women and children.

On the day of Lee Rigby's funeral which is no coincidence, EDL types most likely.
