In terms of the world fitting you it's as bad being that tall as it is being short.

I'm 5 6" would have liked a couple more inches but hey ho but never hand any problems getting a woman. There isn't imho a vast quantity of short men sitting crying into their beers so I wouldn't worry about it

But perhaps I never sought out the vain types.

5'11" is a perfect sweet-spot I think, I don't need to arc my neck in cramped tubes, I can easily get in to the back of 3-door cars, and my feet don't stick out from normal length beds.

I think I'm around 5'8 and never had any problems with heightism in any way. Had plenty of interest from tall girls over the years as well which I found surprising.

Within my friend group I was the shortest though so obviously that was the theme of the banter aimed towards me. It has never bothered me in the slightest, everyone has something that they get teased for within a group, ie. shortest, fattest, skinniest, slowest, least confident, having ginger hair, having a higher pitched voice etc.

Most people get teased for something, being "short" certainly isn't the worst of them.

I merely was trying to say that I think that height is increasing rapidly in younger people and that they are above the average height on average. (in my opinion).

My vertically challenged uni mate had a gorgeous tall Italian girl chasing him round for ages and we were saying 'dude just hit it!' but he couldn't bare the thought of being her little pet LOL. She was a stunner too
