Extend Wireless Signal

Network at in laws is with Talktalk. Is it possible to extend the network with another talktalk router as we have a spare and signal upstairs is naff. Living here should only be temporary. Approx 4 weeks.

If it is possible, how does one set it up?

If you're willing to run a network cable (or use Powerline adapters) you may be able to configure the second router as an access point. I doubt it's worth the hassle.

So, i cant use the 2nd router to extend the wireless signal?
