He didn't go in every day for 2 years though. All his lines will have been used and recorded in a few weeks.
 
It cost R* over $100 million to make this game as it is. Maybe this is the reason they moved away from big names actors because of the money they demanded.

He was an unknown before this and now his name is all over the internet. I bet his average pay cheque has risen significantly because of GTAIV.
 
Still not as much as I think some people are thinking.

Walk, run, shoot, drive, diving out of cars, getting in cars, sitting down, lying down etc...

It would take anything close to one year, let alone 2 years. Let us not forget, professional footballers motion capture for video games and they aren't exactly easy to have around for long periods of time.
 
i dont know. he did imply there was something 800+ pages of script he had to record and do the motion capture for, and that that[i/] was only the cut scene stuff. i dont know how intensive motion capture and reading the parts are, but im pretty sure it would have takes a lot longer then a few weeks :p

He becomes famous, a lot of money and now gets interviews
 
The point is he's unheard of, if he hadn't agreed they could have just asked the next guy to come along, I'm guessding some people would do it for half of what he was paid....like me for example :)
