I'm looking for a new car at the moment, possibly a BMW E46 328 or 330.

I've been thinking about getting a warranty for 6 months 'just in case'. Is it worth it and any recommendations on where to get the cover from?

I've had a quote from here of £317 for 12 months on their top cover. It looks like they do cover some wear and tear items as well up to a maximum amount.

Warranty direct were over £400 for 6 months.
 
The chance of any warranty covering the sort of 330 you will get for less than 5 grand being worth the paper its written on is slim to none. WD are best of a bad bunch.
