Extending C drive...

Can this be done?

Is there an easy way of allocating more space to my C drive (120GB partition on a 1tb disk) or am I gonna have to start shifting stuff around?!

I noticed that in disk management I can reduce/extend everything else, just not my system partition. Bah... Should have given it some extra!

Acronis Disk Director is the tool for the job.

I have used GParted for a partition editor a few times before and everything has worked as expected. It is free too. You can boot it from a USB stick if you don't fancy burning a CD as well.
