External 100GB Seagate, Bleeps

I have a blue and green USB cable which both need plugging into my computer, if not it bleeps and cant be found, which is fine.

Recently it has been playing music fine, then suddenly starts bleeping and the music stutters and stops.

Any ideas? dont fancy shifting nearly 100GB of stuff to desktop to have to buy another external
