External/Desktop Temperature display ?

Hi all.

I'm after an external display for temp monitoring ( I can't see what the system temps are when running games ). I was using a 20x4 lcd screen connected via parallel port and mounted in a frame that sat on my desktop.

New mobo has no parallel port.

Ideally USB connection , that displays CPU and GPU temps , that can sit on my desk near the screen.

I don't seem to be able to find anything similar , Any ideas ?

could you use a parallel port to usb adaptor?

Alphacool LCD-Display 240x128 Pixel Blue about 70 quid from atleast 3 other retailers.

works in same way as matrix orbital etc does with plugins for things like speedfan (which should cover all your main needs

Another idea would be a Logitech g15 keyboard, its got a display on it, and with the right software will show you everything
