I am on a task to convert all my videos into p4 for apple tv. All my vids where on a ntfs windows file structure hard drive. I had attached the drive to my mac and was using handbrake to sort them out. All was going swimmingly. I then enabled on the mac a setting which allowed me to write to ntfs. and I did one movie like this and the mac wrote to the hard drive. However the next time i tuned he mac on the drive was there but but no files. Same thing in windows. I have done a test disk in windows on the drive and the hard disk is healthy and it shows my all the files still there but the hard drive is no in RAW format.
I remember this hapening ears ago to me and I just took ownership of the drive and it came back online but i cant for the life of me remeber how i did it and there seems to be very limited options!
any help? please?
