External Hard Drive Enclosure?

Hey,

After my WD Mybook Studio 2 dying on me for the second time under warranty (grr), im looking for a more reliable solution.

Im thinking of getting some external enclosure (3.5"/USB/eSATA - with FireWire being a plus) and whacking some 1TB or so drive in there. This should work out cheaper, hopefully, than a new WD MyBook and im thinking will provide easy upgrade in future.

What are your recommendations though? Any makes / models? Ive had a look at IcyBox but the model i was looking at didnt have the greatest reviews.

Icy Dock 390 (USB/eSATA) with a Samsung 1Tb F1 is what I've got... Served me well for the last. Passive cooling so it's quiet and temps are reasonable.

My brother-in-law has had the same, he got it 8months ago and it's still running well.
