Any good suggestions?
I'm looking for an external hard drive with a min of 250GB of storage space and USB2 connection. It'll be used with a laptop and won't be moved that much. Access speeds don't need to be amazing as it'll only be used for streaming audio.

From what I can see, looks like I could buy a dedicated external hard drive from Lacie, Seagate or similar for under £80. Another option would be to buy an empty enclosure and put the drive of my choice in it.

Any thoughts on recommendations?

Normally I'd say build it yourself - pick the caddy you like the look of and whack a quiet Samsung disk in it. You tend to find that pre-built externals only have a 1 year warranty whereas an OEM bare HDD can be up to 5.
