External Hardrive Cache

Hi,

I'm going to get an external hardrive, the connection being USB 2.0, but I have a choice of either a Samsung HDD in one of those Neon icy box casings with an (8Mb Cache), or a a Freecom HDD with a 2Mb Cache (But has good reviews).

Does a higher cache make such a big difference?

Regardless of the cache or disk the USB2 interface will be the limiting factor in both cases. I doubt you'll see a difference between the two.
