External HDD chassis for two 3.5" discs?

There are a few multi disk options available but most are IDE or SATA, not a mix. For value for money I'd recommend a pair of single disk caddies like those linked to above.

you will notice a slow down with a usb interface but if your using the
caddys as a backup then there fine for that

but if you were after full speed then you need a caddy that supports sata2
to sata2 interface and a sata2 interface on the back of your pc

I'm not particularly bothered about speed. I'm buying the caddies so that I can plug the hard disks from my dead, crappy PC into my shiny new 20" iMac which I'll have in just over a week! Once i've copied over all my photos/music/videos, to the iMac, I'll reformat the disks and they'll just be used for backup.
