I turned on my external hdd tonight to be met with a windows asking me to format question.
The hdd has about 350gb of files on it and doesnt require formatting so i attempted to access the drive and then the hdd started clicking like crazy.
I turned it off and tried it again this time rebooting my computer and now my computer doesnt even see the drive and now its making a clicking noise...
Might the drive be dead?
