External HDD for backup 4TB? or More

Basically im a graphic designer, and i work with a lot of clients and its getting to the point i need some decent backup drive to store all work/files accounts etc

Looking for a decent recommendation, doesnt need to be stupid money, just a quality drive will suffice

Any ideas?

How are you backing up just now?

I have a couple of 8TB Seagate drives, never had an issue with them.

I also own two Synology NAS drives with 2x4TB.

Im not backing up at all, there just saved onto an Internal 1TB drive mechanical but would like to have an external drive/system

NAS is great, but if you don’t have any backup, I would recommended something soon

If i wanted to go NAS whats best direction to look in? Recommendations, i dont wanna spend the world, it'd be nice to ultimately down the line share between a few computers too

Synology with 2 drives. I have an old model and it’s fine for sharing files. I also have a 218.

Just realized my needs are much more than an External i made a new thread, as i think NAS is the way to go, im unsure of how much to spend though
