hi ive just ordered a new portable external HDD so im selling my old external HDDs.
They will be formated before selling do i have to download a program to stop my data being recovered like when you format a internal HDD?
i know with the internal drives you have to go through a dos program to format data but i cant see how this can be done with a external.
