External HDD to Router

Hello.

Ive plugged my external hdd into the router in order for all the pc's in the house to back up to it.

The drive is showing up under "NETWORK" however if I want to map it or open it it says "Enter Network Password". Ive tried the home group password, wireless key password (the pc im setting it up with is wired anyway), tried pass,admin etc as a password.

Ive also turned off password protected sharing on all windows 7 machines in the house and it is still asking for a password. Username had my PC account name but I dont actually have a password for my account as only I use my PC

You will probably have to configure sharing via the router's WebUI.

I have gone onto the USB section on the WebUI and set up the USB


ooo, wonder if I have to change the profile from my PC's profile to the one setup in the USB Port section on the Web UI

EDIT: Done that and it says HG533 is not accessible. You might not have permissions. Says about removing all previous connections

EDIT II: Done it, now it has enabled me to map it
