Which one should i go for?

I have a budget of just under 90 quid... needs to be pretty reliable and have about 200GB of space.

Its mainly going to be for my MP3's, Videos and Documents... so nothing intensive will be on it.

A bi-weekly backup of my C Drive wouldnt go a miss either.

Was looking at the Western Digital WDG1U2500 MyBook Essential 250GB USB2.0... are these any good?

I'm interested too, although possibly in the market for a smaller one. My brother is fed up with running out of HDD space, but the comp doesn't have room for a second drive. Need information!

Really liking my MyBook Pro, the FireWire 800 is ridiculously fast

The drives are quiet, fast and don't run too hot


USB is like a snail, compared to FireWire, so I'd recommend the FW version every time.

the lacie porsche drives arnt bad either, they come in either firewire 400 or usb, th
they do a tripile interface one called a d2 with fw800 , 400 and usb for arround the same money
