External hot & cold taps

Afternoon,

Currently have an outside cold tap, and looking to hot water outside as well in some sort of mixer tap, I have found one outdoor mixer that is £160 which seams pricey.

Any other options? I know could have two single taps but want to be able to mix the water for various tasks.

Whats it for? Outside cooking area or similar? Im certainly no expert but I think the main issue is going to be running the pipe work from your boiler/existing tap and having sufficient frost protection and stopping it freezing?

Get a plumber to run a pipe from a current internal hot water pipe and stick an internal valve on it?

Then just run from that valve outside with the cold water tap.

Just done the same, im going to use a Y hose section. Not ideal but cheap.

For washing the dog and for filling kids pool
