Hello group,
With the future in mind, I'm going through HD space like a tornado and need some sort of viable way to expand since my case can't hold anymore now (suppose just upgrading to bigger disk all the way around would solve it).
Would you guys recommend me investing in an external case like the icybox? Which can hold a few drives at once maybe and is hot-swappable, or is there something else more suited for home use?
I tend to fill up my drives fairly fast, current drives are ~500gb and I do have a lot of home recordings on them, nothing I would need constant access to, but would love not being forced to open up the case and shutting down the pc if I needed something.
So whaddaya say? External cases or something else? Could you recommend me one?
PS. I figured it stick the thing in the closet and have the wiring done to it in an existant cable tray, that way it'd be out of the way aswell
